Hi All,
I sat outside this afternoon to check on the Anna’s Hummingbird, which I did
see, and also saw a White-throated Sparrow and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. I
suspect the drought in the mountains may be pushing birds into west Texas
early. Justin Bosler saw a Pinyon Jay and two Mountain Chickadees today at
Thompson Grove (Dallam County-the northwest Panhandle), suggesting these might
be irruptive species. It could get interesting!
