Blooms along the caleche ridges of the canyon lakes are fixing to explode.
Already Feathered Dalea, Primrose, Pink Paintbrush, Greenthread, Goatsbeard,
and many “Daisies” are already abundant. They are short so you have to walk the
ridges and look down. Also, the Lace and Nipple Cactuses are abundant if you
look through the dormant grasses. I expect them to have a banner year along
with the yuccas and Basket Flowers a little later. Lubbock Lake Landmark should
be big this year!
