That does appear to be a western - a record late date for the entire
region - a bit of a stunner!

At about 4:30, on my way out to look for the Red-breasted Merganser
(which was still there!) I saw a Western Kingbird on E 58th St. about
halfway between the loop and Olive Ave. Not a particularly exciting bird,
but seems to be running quite late.
