I heard a story on a hawk watch tower of someone who caught a fish with talons
still embedded in its back. Presumably an Osprey.

It looks like a Golden Eagle, but has a white band in the tail.
It bit off more than it could handle. Maybe a juvenile and stupid.
I think the claws are stuck, and it can't let go.
We saw a Bald Eagle catch a rabbit in Alaska. We stopped the car, so the
Eagle tried to take off and get away from us. But, the claws were jammed
through the rabbit, too heavy to fly.
It was quite a thing to watch.
