That’s fantastic!!! About what time did you bird together, and will you be
birding in the afternoon again tomorrow? I really want to see the chat one more
time and try for better pics. And wow! I would love to see the black-throated
warbler and the Townsend’s solitaire! Those would be lifers for me, too. You
two, and everybody else in the LEAS sure do make birding fun! Thanks so much
for the inspiration and encouragement.

I ran into Jim Crites on the way out and we birded together for about
an hour and a half. Highlights included a Common Poorwill, a
Townsend's Solitaire, at least two White-throated Sparrows, a
continuing Yellow-breasted Chat, and a continuing Black-throated Gray
Warbler - along with at least twenty-eight other species. This is,
hands-down, the best birding I have ever seen on the site!
