Greetings All:
During the fifteen minutes it took me to amble from my car to the door
I had the following highlights: one Rock Wren in the F1 Parking Lot,
one Rock Wren in the quadrangle, at least three White-throated
Sparrows (one near the F1 parking lot, 2 with towhees in the plantings
by the new building), over thirty Dark-eyed Juncos (most in the
conifers near the F1 parking lot), at least nine Spotted Towhees, at
least four Orange-crowned Warblers, and one really washed-out
Townsend's Warbler (first fall female?).
I didn't see any Common Poorwills or the Yellow-breasted Chat but I
didn't really beat the grounds.
There were no Magnificent Frigatebirds soaring over any of the puddles
but they might have been obscured by fog:)
