Quick notes:
The crossbill is a female. Pale color and not moving around much, so it’s not
easy to find. We looked at that tree for a long time before Jordan found it.
The female Cassin’s finch is with a large group of house finches. They flew off
to the north while we were watching them. They were hanging out in and under a
juniper.

Moving very casually in a tree just south of Begonia and Gallardia. Also,
had a female Cassin’s finch, about 5 Golden-crowned Kinglets, and 2
Red-breasted Nuthatch. All briefly in the same area.
