Tess,
Thank you for sharing the sights of the cabin. I can almost imagine it. Lovely!
The sit was a success. We will have another in the months ahead.
Enjoy your trip!

Tess,
That cabin sounds really great setting.
That would be a long drive, did you fly, possibly to Duluth MN, and rent a
car?
Clarice grew up in UP Michigan, lots of beauty up there. Clarice's sister
and her husband lived in Ironwood MI until retirement. Ironwood may be near
your cabin. They now live closer to Menominee MI. Green Bay WI is the
nearest larger city.
I remember vast and beautiful woodlands. Winter is another story.
Enjoy!

Subject: [leasbirds] Saturday bird sit
I wish I could have been with you guys but I was on my way to Northern
Wisconsin to a cabin near Lake Superior. I really hope LEAS can have
another bird sit.
I wanted to share that for at least 15 years we have seen Sandhill Cranes
in a field near our cabin. Sure enough, this time there were 3 of them, 2
adults and a juvenile. It is a good feeling to have this continnuallity.
Bald Eagles, Ravens, Crows and various hummingbirds and warblers have also
been spotted. Unfortunately, no pictures.
Sorry to take up so much space. Had to share.
Take care,
Tess
