After Sheri reported the Hooded Warbler on 8/24 I decided to try to find it.
After four trips to Clapp Park over the past two days and a little over
seven hours spent at the park (mostly standing at culvert 2 staring at the
trees) I finally saw it this morning and I was able to get a couple of
decent pictures of it (from the approximately 90 pictures I took). As I was
relating this story to my wife she said something about obsessed but I'm not
sure what she was talking about :). Sometimes you have to be dedicated to
your pursuit and okay maybe a little obsessed :)
