Hi All,
I sat in the backyard this evening and was able to see 22 species of birds.
The most intriguing one was what I think was a female Purple Finch. I
originally thought it was Cassin’s Finch because of the western influx of birds
we have seen recently. The finch had distinct white facial markings and strong
streaks on the sides of the breast. I posted pictures on eBird, sorry, for
some reasons my pictures will not post to this listserver.
Also, I still have the Anna’s Hummingbird.
