How fantastic to see the loons. They are so beautiful. Did you get to hear

Subject: [leasbirds] Loons!!
On our last morning, my son-in-law spotted 8 Loons in the lake and everyone
rushed out to see them. Fog was ebbing in and out, but we could see them along
with some gulls. It was really exciting. Also visible were some sailboats
that looked like they were sinking in the fog.
Last week, in addition to the Cranes, I saw 8 Mergansers out of the kitchen
window. I went out and watched them swim and dive along the shore until they
disappeared.
