Good morning everyone!
After many months without the ability to hold in-person meetings, we have
scheduled our first LEAS Zoom meeting (virtual presentation). The meeting is
set for Thursday, November 5, 2020 @ 7 pm.
Our presenter will be Joseph Manthey, Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences,
TTU.
The topic will be: Frequently asked questions about woodpeckers. This talk will
cover multiple topics involving woodpeckers, including geographic
distributions, anatomy, hybridization between species, mimicry among
woodpeckers species and conservation.
A link for this Zoom meeting will be sent out next week prior to the meeting.
This meeting will be recorded for future viewing.
Should you have any questions regarding this meeting, please don’t hesitate to
contact Lena Zappia or myself.
We will be testing the waters here, but feel it will be a good way to continue
meeting and presenting information safely for the time being.
You are welcome to join the video feed or not (your preference) and also mute
sound on your end or not (your preference). We will have a question and answer
period following the presentation, so everyone attending will be muted during
the actual presentation to limit background noise.
Thank you in advance for joining in and most especially for your patience.
