Determined it was a Bonaparte’s gull.
Will try to get the photos added to check list this weekend.

He and ring- billeds were flushed by some dog walkers. They circled over
head a bit and the larger gulls landed again on the northern shore. I did
not see if the small gull when elsewhere or was misxed in with the others.
