Did Silver Falls, Dickens Spring and some highway/road birding today.
Totaled about 60 species. Best bird was a Black-throated Gray Warbler at
Silver Falls, which was the birdiest stop. Other good birds were
Golden-fronted Woodpeckers (SF & DS), Brown Thrasher (DS), Lesser Goldfinch
(DS), Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (DS), Eastern Phoebe (North Dickens County),
Mountain Bluebirds (NDC), Townsend’s Solitaire (Floyd County), Prairie Falcon
pair (Crosby CR 125 n. of 82).
Lots of Ravens, Sandhill Cranes (350ish @ Crosby CR 125 n. of 82), and Meadow
Larks.
