Greetings All:
That would fit in nicely with the thirteen Upland Sandpipers that Sheri
Anderson and I heard and saw (flying over) while walking around Lake Six
today.

I brightened up the photo. These really look like shorebirds to me - my guess
would be upland sandpipers.

My wife and I went to Clapp Park last night to try and relocate the American
Redstart and the Willow Flycatcher. We found the American Restart again in
the NE corner of the Arboretum. Later Anthony and Sheri located it in the
same area and eventually it flew to the stone benches. There was also a
possible Nashville Warbler that seemed to be hanging out with it. A couple
of Yellow Warblers were also in the same area – near the stone benches.
The other interesting birds we saw are in the attached picture. The lighting
was bad and they were flying over going south. There was a group of 9 or 10
flying together and they appear to be some type of gull. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe Cochran
