I had at least 120 Cedar Waxwings at Mae Simmons this morning.

I have also seen them as well as the siskins and house finches dining on the
new buds and the unfurling leaves on trees as well.
I have only had 2 days with out cedar waxwings sightings since early
February.

I went over to Dunbar Lake earlier today and saw about 7 waxwings in an elm
tree eating the young buds off the leaves, I guess. Then when I went back
across Broadway to enter Mackenzie Park on the curved road close to the
horse statues, I saw around 50 of the Cedar waxwings in another elm tree
eating on it! Left there and went by LLL and saw around 50ish in a little
puddle at the intersection. For some reason I thought they only ate berries.
