Hi all,
I drove Mae Simmons and Canyon Lake 6 yesterday afternoon. Mae Simmons had the
same species as CL6 except for 2 adult Black-crowned Night Herons. Best
sightings of the day were two Pied-billed Grebes giving each other a "greeting
call" (I've never heard one vocalize before!), a couple of cedar waxwings in
with a flock of robins (thanks, Tess!), and two beautiful Eastern Bluebirds.
Also, forgot to post on Sat, but Charles A Guy had a male Redhead and the playa
across 82nd (behind the bank and Fazolis) had a female Common Merganser.
