I spent about four hours in Lynn County yesterday - before I was beaten
senseless by flying cotton fiber and dirt clods.
Lubbock County highlights: 18 Wood Ducks at Leroy Elmore Park, 2 female and
8 male Common Mergansers at the Lakeridge Golf Course, 1 Great Egret at
Leroy Elmore Park, 1 Great Egret at Stone Lake, and 2 Snowy Egrets at Leroy
Elmore Park.
Lynn County highlights: 62 Greater White-fronted Geese southeast of Wilson,
560 Snow Geese southeast of Wilson, 60 Ross's Geese, southeast of Wilson,
18 Canvasbacks at the FM 1054 x FM 1313 Playa, and 2 Redheads at the Skeen
Playa.
Hopefully, things will get a bit more exciting after some rains fall and
the winds die down a bit:)
