Hi All,
Went to check to see if there were shorebirds here this afternoon, but the
water levels are high. The vegetation in the water on the east side is at least
1/2 submerged. There were still 2 Spotted Sandpipers, 1 Avocet, and 6
Black-necked Stilts on the east side. The west side only had grackles and a
Great Blue Heron. I would recommend visiting on the weekend. They are preparing
the site just to the south for building and they are putting lots of dirt up in
the air.
