Kickoff your conference experience with a getting started session to explore
the essential components, considerations, and partnerships for building a
successful learning communities program.
Reinvigorate your teaching with sessions that are for faculty, by faculty.
Whether you are looking for tips on creating integration between disciplinary
courses, or want to learn how other instructors have built connections in their
learning communities, there is a session for you!
Maybe, you want to know more about Living Learning Communities. NLCC has a
track dedicated to learning about all aspects of living learning
communities—from creation, administration, and strategic partnerships, to
assessment and much more!
Make a case for learning communities on your campus: join colleagues from
across the country as they share their student success outcomes and assessment
of learning communities on their campuses. Take what you learn and make the
case on your campus.
Are you interested in the ins and outs of learning communities administration?
Check out the Administration track, where you’ll find sessions on everything
you need to know about building, sustaining, and scaling successful learning
communities programs.
The National Learning Communities Conference invites all who are involved in
learning communities, first-year experience, high-impact practices, and related
work. Educators, learning community practitioners, administrators, and
researchers are all welcome and will find value in the conference’s community
