Subject: [LCT] News
In these times, positive news is always welcome, so please do share your
achievements with the community! There’s so much to learn from others who use
the same concepts to study other issues.
Here’s a piece of news we stumbled across, from University College Cork, Ireland
Congratulations to Drs. Órla P. Barry and Róisín Kelly-Laubscher of the
Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, UCC, who secured research funding
to support their project entitled ‘Exploring Pharmacology Assessment: A
Legitimation Code Theory Analysis’, building on their previous work exploring
types of assesment questions valued in Pharmacology. The use of LCT as an
analytical toolkit will readily identify if the assessment design in
Pharmacology matches with desired student learning outcomes.
