What many consider to be the most extreme example of change, Washington State Privatization, and the resultant impacts will be discussed. *Dr. David Jernigan & Vincent DeMarco* *Transforming Public Will For Alcohol Taxes Into Political Power: The Maryland Model* Professor David Jernigan and Vinny DeMarco will describe how a broad based grassroots coalition used a tried and true organizing model to enact the first alcohol tax increase in Maryland in forty years.
