Hi,
In late May and even into early June, some flocks of nonbreeding Western
Canada Geese fly northward to the Columbia River area to molt.
I have seen a couple of flights so far this Spring, and this morning (5/22)
at about 10 AM, I saw a calling flock heading noth about 200 ft above
ground level over the Hallmark Motel in South Newport.
A sign that Spring is passing!
