[lcbno] Ground nest identification

A friend in Otis found this nest and asked me what bird it might be? I'm no good with nests and eggs. Here's what she said:

Hey Dawn. I found this ground nest today in an area we had cleared a few months ago Do you know what it might be. The nest is about 3” across and the egg about 1”.
