(OCAq), a Nazca Booby (Sula granti) caught a flight to International Bird
Rescue in Los Angeles, California for continued rehabilitation and eventual
release. The bird was initially found hunkered down on the docks of
Newport’s historic bayfront, over 3,000 miles away from its native range. A
member of the public was able to retrieve the bird and bring it to the

I just got word from a friend in Lincoln County that a Masked Booby came
in on a fishing boat and was taken to the Oregon Coast Aquarium for
treaatment.rfehab. i saw a short video of it, and it appears to be an
adult Masked - not Nazca. It was walking around and did not show obvious
injuries, so might do OK.
Hopefully someone can photograph it and get good details on when and
where obtained,etc.
