This event is a few hours away from TechEd and is the Saturday prior to TechEd! Please let everyone know! You can also Tweet about the event using the #SqlSat22 hashtag. Thank you, Ryan Duclos @rduclos Lower AL .NET User Group - President Pensacola SQL Server User Group - Event Coordinator SharePoint Mobile (In the works) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: <karla@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, May 6, 2010 at 9:42 AM Subject: SQL Saturday/Pensacola Code Camp - Updated Information To: (This may be a duplicate email for you if you are already registered for SQL Saturday, but I wanted to mention also that if you have a blog site or twitter, to please post up a blurb about SQL Saturday #22...Thanks!) Good Morning Everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that the final agenda has been adjusted a bit, so please revisit the site and check it out. http://www.sqlsaturday.com/22/schedule.aspx New to our already fantastic line-up is Kevin Kline, presenting on "SQL Server Internals and Architecture" and during the lunchtime slot, he'll be presenting on "Understanding and Preventing SQL Injection Attacks", teaching you how to keep your servers and your data secure from hackers. Also, if you haven't noticed, we have a special early bird session going on in the auditorium at 7:30. We are honored to have Steve Jones of SQL Server Central presenting a beginners session on "Basic SQL Server". This session will cover what SQL does, basic objects and queries, indexes, and security. Great chance to get some concrete understanding on how SQL really works, even if you don't know anything about SQL! We will be sure to have the coffee and donuts there early! Btw, attendance is growing rapidly, and we will definitely be breaking last year's numbers! Keep spreading the word! Those of you in Alabama, YOU GO! We have increased our numbers greatly from our neighbors across the state line! I'll be sending emails probably weekly now, updating you on all the details as we finalize things in these next few weeks. If you know anyone who is waiting to register to be sure they can make it, tell them to sign up now, so they will be included on all the details. They will have a chance to opt out that last week prior to the event, if they indeed can't make it. If you would like one of our event flyers in e-version form to post up around your town or your employment, please email me at karlakay22@xxxxxxx, and I'll send that to you. Looking forward to seeing you all again! If you'll be in Jacksonville this weekend for SQL Saturday #38, be sure to say HEY! I will be there helping out with check-in, and Rodney and Shawn are presenting. Hope to see some of you there! Cheers, Karla
