Subject: [langleyhill] urgent issue re link
WHOEVER MANAGES THE LANGLEYHILL WEB SITE NEEDS TO TAKE ACTION.
Unfortunately, security of Zoom discussions is growing into a major issue. Like
the virus itself, we need to protect BEFORE we need ventilators!The problem is
described at:https://ftw.usatoday.com/2020/03/zoom-bombing-how-to-prevent-it
EITHER we are at risk of being hacked now, in a very unpleasant way, OR (best
case) the information on the web page is incorrect and frustrating to anyone
who tries to use the link.
========
I learned that we had a problem about five minutes ago, when I read Dave's
message about the link to today's meeting, and went to the meeting website
http://www.langleyhillquakers.org/home.aspx.Here is what I saw there five or ;
ten minutes ago:===================================================
COVID-19 Alert
We will not be holding Meeting for Worship during the current situation, which
we expect to last through at least the end of April. Please check back here
for further updates or contact us via phone or email if you have additional
questions. Until further notice, meetings will be held on Zoom at this link.
If you cannot use Zoom on your computer, contact the meeting or the
communications committee for more details.=================
I have not clicked on that link. To join myself, I will search emails, starting
with the one for drop-in.
Best of luck,
Paul

What is the link to click on? Is it the same or a different link from last
week’s?
