It’s time to double down on our prayers for Katie. At her last meeting for
chemo and planning for what comes next her Dr. had her social worker join them
“because she wanted to talk about some tough stuff”. Her liver numbers had
continued to inch down but not enough. She said that they had run out of
chemos to try for her cancer. There is a new one coming out that is not
approved yet but that she was going to try to get access to.
Katie had a few hours filled with lots of tears but managed to get to a place
where she said this is not that different from a few months age and she bounced
back from that. She says she has too much to live for and won’t give up the
fight. She’s going to find as many ways to heal as she can. Our focused
prayer is one way we can help.
