I just got word from her that it is another flair up of diverticulitis. I
will skip details.
She will stay overnight and hopefully return home tomorrow to
self isolation.
She sounded good and wants to get home as soon as she gets the "all clear"
from the doctors.
Reminder to all --- eat more fiber, drink more water, move as much as you
can!

Please hold my mother - Jo Ann Perkins in the Light at Martha Jefferson
Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.
She had been successfully sheltering in place for some time , yet she had
a recurrence of some prior GI tract issue which has sent her off by rescue
squad to the hospital earlier this AM (8:30 ish) ... with no messages or
updates to me or my siblings- other than around 11 AM she a cat scan was
conducted and she was waiting for results.
