Friends,
We had another rich and well- attended virtual Meeting for Worship this
morning. It was followed by a time when Friends asked for people to be held in
the Light, updated us on their own situations, and made announcements. And all
that was followed by a 2nd Hour program facilitated by a guest from FCNL for
the adults and a virtual Religious Education program for the children. It was a
busy morning!
Below is my rapid transcription of what Friends shared after Meeting for
Worship and before the 2nd Hour. I apologize in advance for misspellings, and
particularly if I've gotten someone's name wrong.

Requests to hold in the Light
Georgia and Hugh Fuller have been in isolation from othersand from each other
at Goodwin House, where they live, for the past 8 days. It’s a safety precaution
following Hugh’s earlier stay in a hospital that hadCovid-19 patients. Hugh is
in assisted living while Georgia is in theirapartment in independent living.
Georgia is trying to arrange for Hugh to stay permanentlyin assisted living, as
this seems the best place for him to get the care heneeds. Please hold them
both in the Light during this transition.
Katie Henderson Bohrer is doing well. Her “numbers” keepfalling, her father
says, which is good news. Please continue to hold all inthis family in the
Light.
Susannah Rose asks us to hold an incarcerated man named Danain the Light. He is
in the prison infirmary waiting for hernia surgery. He’salready been waiting
for several months and is likely to have to continue towait for some time due
to the coronavirus pandemic.
Lauren Stockbower’s friend Denise Rumsy’s husband, GregRumsy, has been in
hospice care since November with stage 4 breast cancer and followingseveral
strokes. Denise says that Greg is now mentally gone. Please hold themboth in
the Light.

at our May Meeting for Business. Send budgetrequests to Jessica Mott.
The Religious Education Committee met this past week. Itwill be working with
the children on community building for the remainder ofthe spring semester.

scheduled for noon today, where the children will beasked to share something
they like—perhaps a pet or other animal or plant. NextSunday, being Easter, the

avoid what we once thought would be many activitieson Easter. Clerk Tim Hunt
asks those with items for the agenda to let him knowabout them this week.
Tim Hunt also announced that we have made the Meeting’s Zoomaccount as secure
as possible with some recent changes. A password is now requiredto join a
meeting, but the password will be embedded in the link sent out withthe
invitation to join the meeting. We want our Meetings for Worship tocontinue to
be open to newcomers seeking a spiritual community like ours inthese stressful
times, so information on how to join our Meetings for Worshipwill still be
posted on our website. Meeting moderators are prepared to dealwith unsavory
hackers. In addition to the Meeting’s own Zoom account, severalpeople have
offered the Meeting use of their personal accounts as backup, somore than one
meeting can take place at the same time. This morning, forexample, the
children’s program scheduled for noon is on a different accountfrom the 2nd
hour program that will be taking place at that time.

exactly right!) She is looking for potential speakers working in prison
ministry, health care, orfood delivery. Please contact her if you are
interested.
