Dear Friends,
Two quick items on this beautiful Saturday.
First, Business Meeting will be next Sunday, April 19 and it will start at
10 AM by Zoom. My sense talking with Ministry & Worship is that two hours
worshiping on Zoom is enough time in virtual community as we transition
from worship at 10:30 to worship with a concern for business (ending at
noon). I will send out the agenda soon with Zoom reminder and all
attachments so there is just one email to look at since there will be no
handouts ... :-) If necessary, I can share my screen to show a document
but would rather see all your lovely faces.
Second, I wanted share the second query of the month from the BYM Unity
with Nature Working Group in honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
I've heard feedback that it is good to consider other issues beyond the
pandemic since the issue of climate and earth care remain with us forever.
* To what extent do we seek to meet our needs in sustainable ways, with
care and consideration for future generations; mindful of the imminent
threats of species loss, loss of traditional cultures and irreversible
climate change?*
