Dear Birders,
A pair of Type 4 (Douglas-fir) RED CROSSBILLS seen, heard, and recorded from my
north Eugene yard this morning was a nice surprise. I've been living here for
almost 8 months but birding daily in the yard for the past four, and these were
the first for the yard (#112, incidentally).
