Hi Nathan,

don't you think it might be a good idea to be able to specify the provider/application of features as an optional attribute of Feature, especially in top-level embedded Features, or alternatively to specify some code of "good practice" about feature naming (ex. provider:name) ?

Hi Gordon,

The source attribute is used to point to additional data related to the
feature element. It could be a document, image, web site URL or just about
any other reference.

Hi Nathan,

What does actually the "source" attribute of the "Feature" element represent ? Is it meant to differentiate features from different providers/applications which might have the same code ? If yes, is there a prefix registry or or some good practice rules about how to use it ?

Best regards,
Gordan
