Sailors,
Are you charged for tomorrow's Speedygo Regatta? Get those boats tuned and
batteries fully charged up. Arrange transportation to get to Whitman. The event
lasts from 4:30 - 8:30 PM, but you are free to come and go. But don't miss the
"Skippers' Meeting" at 5:00 PM (see the attached schedule for full details).
Bring a ball or disc and play in the park between races if you like.
When you register, you will be told which heat you will race in. From this
heat, you will be placed into either the Silver or Gold fleet. Our schedule is
very tight, so be prepared to race when it's your turn. Sailors must forfit if
they are not ready for their race.
Prizes include:
* 2.5 hr Sunset Sail for two on Puget Sound (courtesy of Emerald City Charters)
* T-shirts and hooded Sweatshirts (courtesy of Sailing Through School)
* $10 gift certificates (courtesy of Science, Art, & More)
All participants will receive a special treat after their first race.
Free 2006 Sail Sand Point calendars available (a great place to get wet this
summer!)
Free 48 North magazines available (see pp 40-41 article "Sailing without Boats")
