Fixes in the Final Release Version

The release version of JAWS 7.10 was made available on Thursday, June
21, 2006. The following issues were fixed between the last public beta update and the final release version of JAWS:

1. When you customize a list view, the selected item is now properly announced when you use first letter navigation.
2. When using a language that reads from right to left, you can now select text properly.
3. In previous versions, when you had detected SAPI 4 synthesizers and then added a synthesizer using Installation Maintenance, JAWS removed the detected SAPI 4 synthesizers from the Language menu. The issue does not occur with version 7.10 and the new Synthesizer and Braille Manager.
4. You can now successfully install Spybot 1.4 while JAWS is running.

7. The JAWS TypeString function no longer inserts a grave character when using a British English keyboard layout.
8. If you use the /Type SilentRemote parameter to install JAWS on a remote server, JAWS no longer prompts you to install video intercept drivers when it starts.
9. Drivers for the Alva Satellite braille display can now be installed correctly from the Synthesizer and Braille Manager.
10. In Internet Explorer, JAWS now compensates correctly for unclosed anchors in HTML code.
11. JAWS now reads the Title attribute for form fields on Web pages.

12. Performance and responsiveness in Forms Mode has been improved.
13. JAWS no longer stops speaking when you visit a certain Web site.

14. When you use the TAB key to move to links on certain Web pages, JAWS no longer repeats the link if you are using a braille display and Screen Track Virtual is enabled.
15. In Internet Explorer, JAWS no longer appends a heading line at the end of each check box in a list of check boxes while you are in Forms Mode.
16. Resolved an issue with read multi-line edit boxes in Forms Mode.

17. Resolved an issue where JAWS was not reading some content on certain Web pages.
18. JAWS now reads lists that are nested inside tables correctly.
19. JAWS now correctly recognizes selection lists on certain Web pages.
20. You can now access unlabeled extended selection list boxes in Web forms.
