I have an X5DR and if you remove the cover the battery is very easy to see. It
is of the thin round type, about 1" in diameter and nothing else looks like on
the circuit board. The X5D should be the same I would think. You can find
them here in the states at RadioShack (probably don't have those where you are
eh?:). I'd try re-initializing as Andy suggested first, then try replacing the
