so basically its a buggy program and no one has the fix to make it work = with computers newer than 1995? -----Original Message----- From: korgypark-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:korgypark-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 7:09 PM To: korgypark@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [korgypark] Re: To all, Steve and Ramon (Mon8169)... Yes, the editor says : "Midi communication error occured. Check midi cables and interface". I think this soft only worked with my older powerbook, when the X5 was directly plug into the mac via "to host" cable. This message always appeared when I wanted to work with a midi interface. For all, you will find my piece of midi that always starts my sequences, to initialize the X5. The thing is only to reset controls. --- "Engle, Steve" <Steve.Engle@xxxxxxxxx> a =E9crit=A0: > same problem here. when you open the editor > does it say sometihng about =3D > cannot do transfer dump or something like that > initially? i've never =3D > gotten it to work................ >=20 > -----Original Message----- > From: korgypark-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:korgypark-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 9:13 AM > To: korgypark@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [korgypark] Re: To Ramon (Mon8169) >=20 >=20 > Hello Ramon and all of you ! >=20 > I have a question that may sound stupid, but I > couldn't find the answer yet : I would like to > edit my X5 with Korg Sound Editor, but cannot > make this soft communicate with my sound > module. >=20 > My set up : Korg X5DR, USB midi interface > (Midiman) and a iMac Flat Panel running Mac OSX > 10.2.8. > Everyhting works perfectly with Logic Audio and > SysEx Librairian. > I can launch Korg Sound Editor either from > Classic or Mac OS 9 and see or edit my sounds, > but I can't send or receive any information to/ > from the X5.
