It is on page 65 X5D Manual, about "Editing Application", "Saving Sound Data".
It writes:
"Set the EX parameter on page 2E MIDI FILTER in Global mode to "ENA" to receive
MIDI exclusive data. Otherwise, set this parameter to "DIS.""
