Hi once again Roma,
Access to Bank A can be a very convoluted process depending on how you
control your X5D.
I have my computer connected to the keyboard whether I am playing live or
using it to play sequences. This makes selection of patches very easy as
all I have to do is click on an instrument in the Cakewalk screen, however,
the keyboard needs to be specially set-up to be able to play both banks A
and G at the same time. It is also necessary for you to have the patch-files
loaded onto your computer for both of those banks.
Have a look at http://cc.joensuu.fi/~jsimonen/korgypark.html I have found
this a very useful site in getting both banks available at the same time
when playing sequences. Note though, some links on this site are no longer
available.
