Hello Rowers,
Sorry about the first message that was cut off after one sentence: technical
issues on my end.
Now for the details: We have set the dates for two (2) Immersion Classes, so
please save the following dates on your calendars:
May 14 & 15
June 11 & 12
We will use the same format as last summer and fall and will be following up
with detailed schedules for both Sat & Sun lessons, hopefully by the end of
April. We have had folks on stand by for quite some time, so we should have
full classes for both sessions. Board members will be reaching out to everyone
about volunteering for one or both sessions and I trust we can count on the
same level of participation we had last year. Thank you, in advance, to all of
you who can help. This can't be done without you.
As for rowing in the meantime, the docks and ramp are slowly rising as is the
water so we are getting closer to being able to launch some boats. When the
winds die down and the river currents slow, we will announce an Open Row and
get our season started. Look forward to seeing you on the water soon.
