I like “talk to a local owner” section with vehicle. Nice.

A travelogue, maybe, about different trips EV owners have done, so that
potential EV owners realize you can do that. Highlight a different one each
month or quarterly. They don't just have to be really long trips. Long
weekends or a trip to the place we had lunch, near Fontana Dam. A big (or
small adventure)!
Maybe working at having a repore with the dealer's that are open to selling
EV's & they can put a blurb in the newsletter. Yeah, I know that's a bit of a
stretch. I think Robert, you already have an idea on some of the dealer's.
Other ideas are great, by the way.

This will help our membership grow. You might add a section for when we have a
drive like we did to Tapoco Resort for lunch .

I think a stand alone page and I like “Talk to a Local Owner” And I agree it
should include the car.

What should we call this section? I can have it as a stand alone section we
"advertise" on the front page as "Talk to an Owner" or something. But also have
the same details come up when people click through to say "Model S" or "Chevy
Volt" we will have the same local experts contact mentioned.

Dave, I especially like that idea! We could even be grouped by vehicle type so
that if someone was interested in Teslas (or Volts, Leafs, etc.) he or she
would be able to speak directly with an owner of that particular vehicle.

I would like to see an ask a local expert page where people could be contacted
and one of us could reply back on personal experiences in owning an EV here.
Since many dealers seem reluctant to push EVs. Maybe we could have a short bio
page on people willing to be contacted so then we can reach back out to them.

Hey everyone,
I thought I would send out a polling type email and get some discussion and
feedback from everyone. What would you like to see on our website? I am just
throwing stuff out here as a rough idea. Obviously I am going to have the
monthly meeting details front and center all the time. I am going to have an
"about" section that tells about our group. I will have a membership section
where people will be directed to EAA to sign up for our chapter membership. I
am going to have a "news" or "blog" type section on the front page where we
can have different members post things they think the community would enjoy
hearing about and that will help drive viewers to our website. We should
consider a section about EV education, how they work, charging levels etc.
Then a section that lists the different EV's by manufacturers and touches on
the details of each EV. We can have a links section that links our partners
and friends such as ETCF, DET, and Chattnogga and hopefully future Nashville,
and J
What other pages/sections of the website would you all like to see?? Or what
information should we deliver to the public? Should we have Knoxville
Dealership information? Electricians for Charger Installs info?
I just thought I would get the ball rolling on a good discussion.
Cheers,
Eric
