I replaced the tires on my Model 3 at 30,000 miles. I did not care for the lifespan on the factory Michelin Primacy MXM so I researched for probably 2 months and landed on the Nokian Entyre 2.0 I ordered a set and put them on and have put about 3000 miles on them. They have performed well in both wet and dry conditions, they have have low road noise(very comparable to the MXM) but they are also designed for Electric vehicles so they have a sidewall to limit noise transmission through the tire and a low rolling resistance. They were a little hard to find when I was shopping, I ended up ordering from a place out of Florida but so far I have been happy with the performance and they are rated as a 60,000 mile tire and I know I won't get that on an EV but I wanted to get something that might do me better than the 30k on the Primacys and these were less than half the price of the Michelins.

Marty,
I always try to get Michelin, they are always round, well balanced,
and get good mileage.

Thanks, Robert and Gary!

If anyone else wants to share their experiences, I’d love to hear
them.

It's time to replace the tires on my 2016 Volt.  I would really
like to hear from the group what your thoughts are on the best
tires to achieve a good blend of comfort/quietness/traction/low
rolling resistance.

I realize that there are trade-offs among those different traits,
so no one tire can do it all.  If forced to choose among those
traits, I probably value a smooth and quiet ride the most.

I'm just curious what your experience has been and what tires
you've liked and didn't like on your EV.  Also, don't worry about
price.  I don't usually skimp on tires :-)

Thanks!

Marty
