May 8th, 11am, 11 people in attendance.
We skipped member introductions because we all pretty much knew each other.
We discussed member's news.
Susan Goodwin brough the motion for KEVA to also formally be a chapter of Drive
Electric Tennessee. The motion was included in the meeting agenda for anyone
that would like to review that.
Marty seconded the motion.
I asked for the yays and nays by voice vote.
The yays carried the vote, the motion passed.
Eric updated everyone with the status of our registering as a non-profit.
Eric updated the group about the policies of the EAA and how EAA is holding a
vote to become known as the Electric Vehicle Association. The group agreed that
hopefully that change will help EAA be more easily found on the internet.
Eric is also currently working on business cards and promises to have at least
a sample ready for the next meeting.
Marty is looking to a potential meeting location for the next meeting at the
Townsend visitor center. We could turn this into a cookout.
Any meeting locations changes will be updated on our website Knoxev.org
Some different EV news was shared and the meeting was adjourned.
