Review of June Items Briefed:

A test track was mentioned where 20KW real time charging is possible and
may sustain EV operation at 60MPH. Gary Bulmer has more…
Automatic piloted vehicles and personal preference was discussed.
Use of 3KW from electric car batteries for household power transfer is
possible but not available with every EV.
The Workhorse electric truck (W-15) was brought up (evidently it has dual
power sources) http://workhorse.com/pickup
Electric riding and push mowers advantages/disadvantages were discussed,
Gary Bulmer opted for a manual push mower powered by beans and taters.
*July 8, 2017 Items, Upcoming KEVA events:*
Cars & Coffee @ West Town Mall, 16 July 2017 (Robert Finn) needs to know
who is bringing cars and they must be in place by 7am.
UT Indiana State Game KEVA event September 9 2017, we need a few EVs to
show at the event, there is evidently a standing invitation. Something
different car wise is suggested/requested.
National Drive Electric Week, September 9-17, 2017 / Suggested that we
hold an event at Turkey Creek perhaps Thursday 14, Friday 15, and/or
Saturday 16 at differing hours to accommodate workers and non-workers who
would like to stay out of TC traffic.
The parking fees at TC had been reduced from $500 to $150 via some
haggling.
We will need to show TC Parking proof of insurance which we have through

Suggested: KEVA representative should go around and personally talk to all
the managers of the local dealerships to see if they can send someone out
with a vehicle to do test drives or at the very least show the cars and I
gave them a one page flyer with all the details about the Turkey Creek
event.
Suggested:make cards for hand out for the event.
Suggested: KEVA needs to work on media attention this year for NDEW. We
need to get the NDEW event in the paper, and possibly on the radio. We
just need to get the event out there to the public and let them know what
we are planning on doing a good week before the event!
