We need your opinion!
This is a pivotal time for electric vehicle adoption and for our
Association as we grow and expand.
The idea of changing our name from *Electric Auto Association* to *Electric
Vehicle Association* has come up several times over the past few years.
This might be the right time to make that change!
We want your input.

*To consider:*
- The terms "electric vehicle" and "EV" are common speaking and Google
search terms. "Electric auto" ranks low in search terms.
- The term "electric vehicle" encompasses electric transportation
beyond automobiles.
- More than 60% of our chapters currently use Electric Vehicle
Association in their names.
- The current name has been in use for many years and has brand
recognition with current members*.*
- Costs for the change would be approximately $1,500-$2,000 for
legal, administrative and implementation fees.
