Yes sir as most RVs are also outside. It just gives extra flexibility.

Will that work outdoors? I'd like to mount it on the outside of my garage

My recommendation is to add a NEMA 14-50 outlet (or two) to the garage.
With a plug it is very easy to add charge cord to that plug. Any
electrician can add the NEMA 14-50, which is a 50 amp 240 plug. Common
with a stove or RV’s.

Subject: [knoxev] EVSE installers in town
Hi all,
I'm new to the list. Met some of you at the event at Whole Foods last
weekend. I drive a 2017 Bolt, and my wife has a 2018 Clarity.
I've been charging at work and with L1 at home, but have decided to get a L2
at home. Can anyone recommend an EVSE installer? Do I need to buy an EVSE
separately, and then hire an electrician (I don't yet have 240V in my
garage), or is there a company that will sell me the unit with installation
as a package?
Thanks,
Stephen
