The Department of Mining Engineering of Indian School of Mines (ISM),
Dhanbad, the pioneers in the league brings to you the grandest ever *Earth
Sciences and Technical Carnival* “*RADIANCE - 2010*”, during January 15th -
17th, 2010.Through *RADIANCE - 2010*, we aim to provide an excellent
opportunity for the young buzzing minds to compete with the best and the
brightest from all over the country and not just hone their technical skills
but also provides them a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial prowess
through our managerial events.



Indian School of Mines being an institute of great eminence and with the
Department of Mining Engineering being one of the best in the league, we are
confident that *RADIANCE - 2010* will prove to be a landmark learning
experience not only for the future of the Mining and Earth Science Community
but also other technical traits.



The fest will not only be attended by the students from various prestigious
institutes all over the country, but also be witnessed by distinguished
dignitaries of the mining and allied industries. It will be a great platform
for the budding engineers to interact with these erudites and learn from
their enriching experiences.



A plethora of technical events – competitions, workshops, quizzes, guest
lectures, paper presentations and exhibitions will be held during the
festival. We endeavour to extend the guidance of the aces of the industry to
the budding engineers by organizing a panel discussion which would provide
an excellent opportunity to the enthusiasts to clarify their queries and get
a better insight of the real time industry. The problem statement for the
competitions would be provided by the company which is sponsoring the event.
Thus, participation and merit certificates of the event would be of great
industrial value. There will be a nominal registration fees which includes
participation in the events, accommodation in ISM Campus, promotional
t-shirt and souvenir of the festival.
