Certain states with the potential to be adversely affected by Hurricane Matthew
(see image below) have asked for assistance as part of the Emergency Management
Assistance Compact (EMAC) - click

information about this state-to-state mutual aid system.
The following have been requested so far:
* Type III Swiftwater Rescue Teams
* EMAC A-Team Members
* Type III EOC Overhead Teams
* Type III All Hazard Incident Management Teams
* Environmental Debris Specialist Official
* Individual Assistance (IA) Officer
* Public Assistance (PA) Officer
