Subject: Fire Season 2015
Looking at the weather forecast and current conditions - warm and dry this week
with a system moving through the area early next week (Monday-Tuesday), then
warm and dry for the foreseeable future. With that, I am looking at declaring
Fire Season effective Friday, June 5th, at 0001 - Walker Range will be going in
at the same time. I will also implement the Regulated Use Closure for the
Klamath River Canyon at the same time.
Time to get the word out and let our cooperators, partners and stakeholders
know what our plan is and why.
Randy - Could you put together a press release and include Walker Range as well?
