Greetings, This week, May 19-25, 2013, is EMS Week and the theme that the National Fire Administration has announced for this year's EMS Week is "One Mission. One Team." With the recent service delivery challenges, now more than ever, we have become one EMS team in Klamath County. EMS Week is for the recognition, so thank you to all the men and women that staff our County's ambulances, keep up the good work. You are appreciated and understood by those you care for as well as your peers. Also, in the spirit of "One Mission. One Team.", I would like to recognize the critical importance of the quick response EMS provided by fire engines and rescue crews. Thanks for the support and the help. Wednesday May 22, 2013 is Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) Day. Use this day as a reminder to ensure you have, and know how to use, your ambulance's child seat capability and other kid friendly items. In closing, thank you all for responding to our community's emergency medical needs, and responding in support of the each other. Stay safe, so you can stay in the game.
